Volunteering

Volunteering remains a key feature and high profile activity for our Charity, and part of our ‘Care in the Community by the Community’. Whilst emanating from our shared experiences of the past decades, it builds on our social capital resource and enhances our intrinsic ethos of caring. Having robust volunteering recruitment policies and practices with DBS checks has helped to establish formal Volunteering in the Community.

We continue to empower and support the local Community in terms of groups and individuals through the Volunteering network. Volunteers supplement Homecare services by providing a range of Support mechanisms.

Volunteering offers opportunity to make a difference and learn new skills, while serving humanity within our local Communities. As an organisation, Mushkil Aasaan welcomes Volunteers of all ages.

We have an assigned Volunteer Co-ordinator to deal with our volunteering recruitment and all Volunteers are DBS- checked. After a successful interview and reference clearance, participants would be offered training. If you have time, commitment and skills to offer, and would like to be part of our Volunteer Team please contact Mushkil Aasaan.
